  1. Don’t you think the albums released this summer have been average at best??! Won’t name any specifically, but you know what they are! lol
  2. Aren’t you trying to figure out how Brian Courtney Wilson’s CD is still on the charts? We’re 4 months away from 2011?!?!? That’s a good team he has!!
  3. So come on… tell me what you really think of Forever Jones!?!?
  4. Don’t you think Isaac Carree should have chosen a different first single than “Redeemed,” which had already been recorded by Heather Headley?!?! Pretty song, but more of an album filler!
  5. Is anyone thinking about purchasing that “Blessed & Cursed” movie? Is anyone a little skeptical?!!? lol
  6. So do you think it’s going to take Leandria’s album even longer to come out since A’Yanna’s is just coming out this month!??!
  7. What is going on over there at the GMC and their programming?!?! One word…CRICKETS!!! Could you at least buy “The Cosby Show” series we care about!?!?
  8. Are any of the finalists or runner’s up from Sunday Best ever going to release an album?? Ooopss actually Shari Addison did and we see how that turned out.

  1. Kirk Franklin is a great host, but don’t you think some of those suits this season were a bit much??!

  5. Didn’t Kim Burrell start to look younger and younger each episode??! It’s a good thing!!

  7. Wasn’t that finalist from Nigeria the biggest MISTAKE of the season!?!? Actually the second biggest mistake. The first was even going to Nigeria!?!?
  8. Don’t you want to know who sings the theme song??! I’m still feeling it and we are 3 seasons in!!
  9. If Elder Goldwire wins do you think there is going to be a riot??
  10. Did you notice that now they have added cash to the winnings?!?!? You know what that means…BET is actually putting a little money behind the show!

  1. Was it the plan for Lowell Pye and Isaac Carree of Men of Standard to release solo albums around the same time? I wonder who will get more play??
  2. When Joann Rosario went solo after singing with Fred Hammond that turned out to be a good look! But why didn’t it work for Shea Norman??
  3. Remember when Keith Staten left Commissioned to do his solo thing?? It worked for a split second, but nothing like it did for Fred or Marvin!!
  4. Who knew Monique Walker, Hezekiah Walker’s ex and former lead vocalist of the Love Fellowship Crusade Choir would get CRICKETS??
  5. It looks like Kirk Franklin’s former singers have done pretty well for themselves on their own; Tamela Mann, David Mann, Anthony Evans and Myron Butler. Will it work for Nikki Ross??
  6. When CeCe Winans recorded her first solo project that was the best decision, as far as her career is concerned!!
  7. I give Zacardi Cortez of James Fortune & Fiya maybe one more album with them before he goes solol!
  8. One of the girls from J. Moss’ group Ramiyah is supposedly working on a solo album. Does anyone care?

  1. I don’t think I’ve seen Vanessa Bell Armstrong look so stunning in YEARRSSS!! But I didn’t like those white deaconess stockings she had on! Was it just me??
  2. Didn’t you feel like Crystal Aikin was reintroducing herself again?!!? The new hair and a few less pounds did her GOOOOOD!! I took a couple of double takes!! I think I have a crush…shhhhhh!
  3. I’m not sure if you could see this on TV but at the taping it was very apparent why Bebe Winans stood in one spot during their performance of “Grace.”
  4. Didn’t Tramaine Hawkins look so age appropriate!??!
  5. Didn’t you want Vickie Winans to give those wedding dresses in different colors back to the bridal shop?!? I mean that’s why Donnie McClurkin felt compelled to propose during the taping! You had to be there! LOL
  6. Sexy seniors were in the building!! Shirley Caesar in leather, Dottie Peoples showing a little skin and Albertina Walker in her diamond studded glasses and silver boots!! DO IT!!
  7. What did you think of Tina from Mary Mary in her tuxedo bow tie shirt thing?? I didn’t really like it…but her newborn baby boy was a great accessory!!
  8. They didn’t show this on TV, but I saw it while I was there. I don’t think I like men in long fur coats! What about you??
  9. Ricky Dillard & New Generation looked so RIGHT in that pink and black!!
  10. I hold Donnie McClurkin in such high esteem, but I still want to see him in some color. The brown suit wasn’t bad, I just wanted something that popped a little more.

  5. After seeing the tribute for Steve Harvey, weren’t you ESCTATIC that he let that flattop/box go and went with the bald look!?!?
  6. Didn’t you wonder how much celebrity journalist Jawn Murray paid the camera man to get him in every shot?!?! (lol)
  7. Donald Lawrence’s suit on the red carpet was Gucci from head to toe! It was hot! But that suit he performed in…hmmm…but he’s the Donald, so I guess he can do that!
  8. The more you see Fred Hammond perform songs from this new album “Love Unstoppable” don’t you start to like the CD even more?!?!
  9. If they ask Yolanda Adams to sing “Victory” on one more show don’t you think she should put her foot down and say NO! Cuz I sure do!!
  10. Didn’t you think James Fortune’s white tuxedo jacket and black pants was a little boring?!?! Come on James you had an incredible year in ’09 with a mega chart topping song…now let’s get a stylist.

  4. Weren’t you wondering why the Stellar Award nominations caused a big stir?!?! Most years I find myself giving most of the nominees CRICKETS! Why did everyone think this year was going to be different!?
  5. Still trying to figure out which story was bigger this year; Tonex’s interview with Lexi, Bebe arrested for domestic violence or Tye Tribbett & Da’ T.R.U.T.H.’s sabbaticals!!
  6. Don’t we want Coco Brother, the host of BET’s “Lift Every Voice,” to change the backdrops for his interviews?!?! A colored wall and some chairs…REALLY?? We can’t add some flowers, a cloud, a bench…SOMETHING?!?!?!
  7. Didn’t it seem like Smokie Norful’s CD “Live” came out in ’08?!?!
  8. Don’t you think Men of Standard should have left “When Your Life Was Low” off their greatest hits CD?!?! Their version didn’t quite do it for me!
  9. Weren’t you shocked to see Kim Burrell looking so small!?!? I mean after 3 heart attacks PRAISE GOD for whatever surgery she had!! Come on, you’ve seen her…she definitely had one of those weight loss surgeries!
  10. Don’t you think Da Gospel Truth did an OK job for dropping on the scene out the blue with no one knowing who we were?!?!?!?!

CHRISTMAS ALBUMS…WERE YOU THINKING THIS TOO??

  1. Didn’t Sounds of Blackness’ song “Soul Holiday” become the Black holiday anthem?? LOVE IT!
  2. “The Real Meaning of Christmas” on Benson Records is a classic now!! Do you have it?!?! Angelo & Veronica, Commissioned, Kim Rutherford, Fred Hammond, etc.  I NEED TO HEAR IT NOW!
  3. Didn’t Tarralyn Ramsey put her foot, arm and head into “O Holy Night”?!!? And she was only 14 or 15!!
  4. Thank God Brian McKnight recorded a second Christmas album because that first one…CRICKETS!
  5. Isn’t it time for Kirk Franklin to give us a new Christmas CD?!?!
  6. Some of the arrangements on Destiny’s Child’s “8 Days of Christmas” were VERY different. But why is it one of my favorites now?!! They always get me!
  7. Donald Lawrence’s “I Can Hear the Angels” is one of my all time favorite original Christmas songs!! The groove is out of this world!!
  8. Why hasn’t Brandy recorded a Christmas album yet?!?!? Come on B-Rocka!
  9. Hearing “I Know That My Redeemer Liveth” by Tevin Campbell makes you realize that he really did his thing back in the day!! Hmmm…where is he now, is the question??!?
  10. Don’t you think some artists shouldn’t even try to record Christmas albums!?!? You can fill in the blank yourself. (lol) I’m not trying to get myself into anymore trouble until next year!!

  6. Kim Burrell’s photo for “Everlasting Life” really makes it look like a classic CD, like it has become don’t you think??
  7. Didn’t Mary Mary look so wholesome, so black girl next door on the cover of their “Incredible” CD with those flowers!??!
  8. Don’t BeBe & CeCe look so good on the cover on their upcoming CD “Still?!?!” That’s how you do it!
  9. Don’t you feel some type of way about Natalie Wilson’s album cover for “Girl Director!?!?” Hmmm…that scarf and that laying down pose…
  10. I’m thinking JJ Hairston & Youthful Praise get the award for best album cover for “Resting on His Promise!!” The man looks so fresh and so clean!!

GOSPEL REALITY WINNERS…WERE YOU THINKING THIS TOO??

  2. It’s kind of no surprise that no one bought Da’Quela’s album since I don’t think anyone watched the show “G.I.F.T.E.D.”
  3. Have the Nevels Sisters come out with their prize winning CD after winning the show “FOCUS?” Did anyone watch that show either?
  4. At first it seemed like Crystal Aikin got the shaft after winning the first season of “Sunday Best,” but since the release of Shari Addison’s album we really haven’t seen or heard from Shari since!?!?!?
  5. Can someone tell me the name of the guy that just won this year’s competition of “Gospel Dream??”Thank God I don’t have a gun to my head!! (lol)
  6. After Lashell Griffin’s latest release, I don’t know if we’re going to be hearing from her again!?! COME ON YOU HAD OPRAH AS AN EDORSEMENT!?!?!?
  7. Stephanie Dotson…hmmm???!! Yeah…yeah…hmm…give me a minute…I’m thinking!

  9. I’m still not quite sure who the winner of Season 2 of “Sunday Best” really is. Only time will tell when Y’Anna & Jessica’s albums are released.
